The Information Division is charged with the responsibility to disseminate information on the products and services of the Bureau of Standards to its external customers. The Mission of the Standardization Division is to facilitate trade and protect consumers through the timely development, promulgation and verification of the implementation of standards and technical regulations. The Facilties Management Division of the Bureau of Standards is a newly created entity at the Bureau as a direct consequence of its restructuring.

Measurement is the set of operations having the object of determining the value of a quantity. Metrology is the field of knowledge concerned with measurement and include both theoretical and practical problems with reference to measurement, whatever their level of accuracy and in whatever fields of science and technology they occur. Metrology can also be defined as the science of measurement. The Human Resources and Administration Division is responsible for all aspects pertaining to the selection and welfare of staff. The mission of the Finance Division of the BSJ is to be steward for the public in the management of funds utilized by the BOS and to serve other divisions in the BSJ
