Manager, Testing and Industrial Services (Level 9)
The Manager, Testing & Industrial Services, plans, co-ordinates, controls and provides technical support and leadership to the activities in order to meet divisional objectives. The main objective of the Metrology & Testing Division is to provide appropriate measuring, testing services and approval of new building systems according to the national building code to external and internal clients.
Manager, Business Development (Level 9)
The Manager, Business Development, will work to identify and procure potential or new business clientele and new services. The emphasis of the incumbent is on developing these accounts through networking and negotiating. The incumbent will promote various services of the business, including breakthrough products and services, cost reductions, and technology assessments, economic and technical evaluation of business cases and the development of appropriate pricing models for the various products and services. Whether through cold calling or visiting client locations, the Manager, Business Development, will try various means to acquire new accounts. The function must be able to target business opportunities including agents, end users, and distributors. The incumbent must also be conversant and knowledgeable about the technical, development, design, purpose, and specifications of all business products and services. The function must be able to plan and prepare presentations when appropriate.
Chief Accountant (Level 8) (Not Vacant)
Supervision of the operational units within the division ensuring that integrity & accuracy is maintained by developing and maintaining control systems and by the effective management of human and financial resources.
Senior Quality and Environmental Management Systems Officer (Level 8)
The Senior Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) Officer is responsible for providing support for the implementation of the Bureau’s Quality, Environmental and Laboratory Management Systems. This is inclusive of working along with the QEMS Manager in developing and implementing the systems in accordance with established international standards as well as utilizing various approaches to ensure continuous improvement and maintenance. The incumbent aims to provide assistance in ensuring that the services provided by the BSJ meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations as well as conformance to international standards for quality while minimizing damage to the environment.

The incumbent will assist in managing the procurement of goods, services and works in accordance with the relevant principles, policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure that: value for money; equity; competition; economy; integrity, fairness, efficiency and transparency is achieved.
Audit Assistant (Level 6)
The incumbent assists the Internal Auditor in planning, executing and reporting on a range of audits across the organization with the objective of supporting ongoing efforts to ensure effective corporate governance. The job involves ensuring that the organization’s information technology systems, processes, and controls are compliant with relevant regulatory, legal, and industry standards and that they operate effectively and efficiently. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring the quality of an organization’s IT systems or databases.

Maintenance Technician (Level 4)
The incumbent is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks across various systems and infrastructure within BSJ facilities. Duties include building inspections, inventory monitoring and scheduling repairs (plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC systems) for the BSJ in order to support its core activities within a safe and functional environment. This role aims to ensure the safety, efficiency, and longevity of BSJ's properties by addressing minor repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
