Mr Orville Johnson joined BSJ in 2017 as the Management Information System (MIS) Manager and has been leading the restructuring and realignment of the Bureau’s MIS resources, in accordance with the organization’s needs. Mr Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing and Information Technology from The University of Technology Jamaica. He is also an ITIL foundation 2011 Certified Professional and is a licensed Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional.
Mr Johnson has been working in the field of Information Technology for over 15 years. Prior to joining the BSJ, in 2003 he was an Information Technology Teacher, after which he moved on to serve in a myriad of Audit and Advisory roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers Jamaica, from 2004 to 2010. In these roles, his focus was primarily on software development, business process improvement, compliance and risk, and business change initiatives with, public and private sector organizations. After leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers, he also served in a business advisory role at KPMG in 2011. Subsequent to that he has led the MIS department at St. Catherine Cooperative Credit Union for 5 Years, 2012 to 2016.
