The BSJ will host the Pan American Standards Commission (COPANT) General Assembly 2018 in Jamaica on 15-20 April 2018. The Assembly will be hosted at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa: Montego Bay Resort.

The Bureau of Standards Jamaica (BSJ) and the International Code Council (ICC) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which is geared towards the BSJ and ICC forging an alliance to ensure the development and publication of customized building codes, aligned to the Jamaican context.
