Call for Experts | The National Food Standards Technical Committee

The Bureau of Standards Jamaica announces a Call for Experts to provide technical support to The National Food Standards Technical Committee.

The Committee is mandated to conduct the revision of: 

     1. JS 36: 1991 Jamaican Standard Specification for Processed Food

     2. JS 326: 2015 Jamaican Standard Specification for Bag drink

     3. JS CRS 28: 2012 (2017) Poultry and poultry products

     4. JS CRS 29: 2011 (2017) Poultry feed and feed ingredients

Development of standard specifications for:

     1.  Food contact surfaces

     2.  Dairy alternatives

     3.  Ready to eat and non-ready to eat foods

Interested persons should have extensive knowledge and experience in the relevant discipline.

 

The next meeting of the National Food Standards Technical Committee is scheduled for

Thursday, 9th May 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the BSJ’s Multi-Purpose Facility situated at

6 Winchester Road, Kingston 10
