Product Description
Food Product Formulation Course introduces participants to food product development, additives, preservation, acidulants, thickeners, and stabilizers. They will also be exposed to the considerations and requirements for formulating, developing, and preserving specific food categories, including preserves, beverages, sauces, seasoning, structured meat, and vegetable protein. This hybrid (face-to-face and instructor-led online) course will immerse participants in lectures, critical discussions, direct/guided instructions, and problem-solving exercises. Learners will also be able to participate in various authentic scenario-based learning activities, prepare formulation documents, and formulate or reformulate different types of food products with expert guidance.
