The Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)—Module 2 (Food Fraud) course exposes individuals to information about food fraud. During the course, participants will be introduced to critical terminologies, methods, reasons, risks, impact, and challenges with food fraud within the food industry within the local and international context, as well as the mechanisms used to prevent food fraud and conduct vulnerability assessments. This instructor-led online course will immerse participants in lectures, critical discussions, direct/guided instructions, and problem-solving exercises. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in various authentic scenario-based learning activities designed to have them prepare a food fraud plan with expert guidance that will be of immediate value to their organization.
