Sets out general labelling requirements for household electrical appliances and detachable heating element(s) sold in Jamaica.
Any Jamaican Standard for a particular household electrical appliance which shall contain labelling requirements applicable to that product, shall supersede the labelling requirements of this standard.
This standard is intended to be read in conjunction with JS 1: Part 1.
